About Us
BodySoul Europe Aims
To widen the exposure of the work of the Marion Woodman Foundation and ensure continued development and quality of practice in BodySoul work in Europe and the work of BodyDreaming. The association represents members from Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Luxemburg, Malta, the Netherlands, Italy, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden and the UK.
BodySoul Work
The work holds that the psyche and soma are inseparable; therefore, body and mind are explored together in the service of healing and growth. BodySoul programmes involve listening to the body and paying attention to unfolding dreams. In this way, guided by the Self, space is provided for the unconscious to emerge through movement, voice-work, painting, journaling, myth and maskmaking.
Teaching
Our teaching has a strong base in the psychology of C. G. Jung, as developed by Jungian analyst Marion Woodman, dance educator Mary Hamilton, and voice coach Ann Skinner and more recently, the BodyDreaming work of Marian Dunlea. Some current programmes are explicitly informed by attachment theory and emerging research from the field of neuroscience.
Programmes
BodySoul and BodyDreaming programmes are designed to enable the expression of buried potential through conscious exploration of blocks which might prevent the living of a full and creative life.
